1. Becoming the One
It's a spiritual truth that genuine love for others – whether giving or receiving – is rooted in a foundation of self-love. Instead of spending all your energy looking for the ‘one,’ try being the ‘one.’ Try becoming that ideal partner yourself. Monica shares a four-step formula for revealing and deeply loving your authentic self, which in turn will aid you in attracting your soul mate.
2. Compromise vs Sacrifice
Our difficulties in aligning with our partners often arise from a lack of self-awareness and empowerment. Compromise is not easy, especially with those we love, but our failure to meet halfway leads to breakdowns in communication and trust. However, suppose we can cultivate curiosity about our partner's experiences and make the effort to put ourselves in their shoes. In that case, we can foster real understanding – even when faced with unfamiliar or challenging situations.
3. The Ultimate Relationship Killer
Differences in men’s and women’s communication styles often lead to misunderstandings, big and small. A significant part of this equation is the ego, which often blinds us to our partner's perspective, leading to unnecessary conflict. To improve our communication, we need to shut out the ego and reconsider our approach, focusing instead on striving for greater understanding – not on who’s right and who’s wrong.
4. The Secret to Change
Relationships are dynamic journeys, ever in motion along the currents of change. Change is inevitable. The question is, will you be the cause of your change or the effect? Because it’s a choice each of us faces. When we embrace change and seek it out, life unveils its true essence as every moment becomes an opportunity for growth. A true soul mate partnership is a commitment to change, to evolve together, always challenging and nurturing one another toward greater heights.
5. The Love Seat
What if you want to start a family, but your partner wants to wait? How do you deal with parents who disapprove of your relationship? Is it normal to have doubts about someone you may want to marry? Watch as Monica engages with couples and singles on these and more challenging topics.
6. The Rethink It Challenge
Monica converses with a couple who've navigated a transformative journey in their relationship, forging a shared vision for the future fueled by a genuine desire for growth. She also challenges us to take on a 40-day challenge in which we commit to taking one action a day toward forming a new habit or changing an old one. Remember, life’s too short to be unhappy or settle for anything less than great. Your happily ever after starts now.
LOVE UNLOCKED
  • Love is never enough.
  • The only way to receive love is to give it away.
  • Focus on being “the one” rather than finding “the one.”
  • Ego is your real enemy.
  • If anyone has to change, it’s probably you.
  • Happily-ever-after is possible.
